Reflection on Scale Shift Project

The scale shift project was very fun, but incredibly frustrating at times. In the beginning I had to attach the chicken wire to itself and it felt like a never ending process. The chicken wire was hard to deal with but when I finished I was relieved. The next part that was frustrating was cutting out the circles that would go at the top and bottom for the wire it hold its shape. At the time the art room didn't have a lot of big pieces of cardboard so to make my circles I had to attach a lot of smaller pieces to get the size I wanted. Creating the cap to the cup involved a similar process, but once it was painted it looked very good.

After that was done the fun part began. I enjoyed paper macheing and it gave the cup a nice look. When the paper mache was dry I then painted the starbucks logo. It was hard to paint on top ot paper mache, but I really liked the way it came out. Although this project was frustrating at times I am very happy with the final product.
